A team of people who have a passion for perfection, excellent customer service and a love for Confetti and Special Effects, we have been elevating events and productions since 1996.
We work with production companies, special effects technicians, prop departments, and event teams to supply reliable equipment and materials that help bring creative ideas to life safely and effectively.
We supply and hire a wide range of special effects equipment and consumables, including products used for atmospheric effects, practial effects and production support.

ASHLING
At Force FX Supplies and Hire Limited, I respond to customer enquiries and help make sure people get the information and support they need quickly and clearly. I also maintain the website and other internet based systems, keeping content up to date and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
My role combines customer communication with digital work, so I’m often switching between answering queries, updating information, and supporting the wider team. I enjoy being able to help people find solutions and be part of bringing creative ideas to life, especially within live events and special effects where things are always fast-paced and interesting.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about music and live events, and I love being around that kind of energy. In my spare time, I like going for walks and spending quality time with family and friends.
One of my favourite meals is a traditional roast dinner, especially when it’s shared with good company.
DEBBIE
I'm new to the industry and enjoy learning something different every day. I love being a part of an experienced friendly team.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog, watching live music, and spending time with my kids and friends.
JOHN
I work as a technician, where I’m responsible for packing and sending out equipment, as well as working onsite as part of the technical team during jobs. My role involves making sure everything is prepared correctly before it leaves, and then supporting the setup and operation of equipment in live environments to help deliver successful outcomes for each project.
Outside of work, I enjoy swimming as a way to stay active. I also like spending time with my family, which is really important to me, and I’m always out walking my dog, rain or shine (even in 0 degrees with shorts on!), which I find both relaxing and enjoyable.
CLAIRE
For 10 years, I have worked as Office Manager at Force FX Supplies and Hire Limited, where I play a key role in keeping day to day operations running smoothly. My role goes beyond traditional office management, combining strong organisational skills with hands on technical support for clients and internal teams.
I am valued for my ability to assist with technical queries and help translate customer ideas into practical solutions, supporting the creation of high quality and visually impactful special effects for a wide range of projects. I feel that my problem solving approach and calm, methodical working style make me a reliable point of contact across the business.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and make time for activities that help me unwind, including walking and reading. I am also well known for my appreciation of dark chocolate, which is something of a personal favourite.
JASON
My name is Jason and I am one of the owners here at Force FX Supplies & Hire. I enjoy finding new and exciting products to bring a different dimension to our customers events and have over 20 years experience in live events from small private functions to large events with thousands in attendance.
Outside of work I enjoy painting miniatures and playing board games.
STEVE
I'm the Health and Safety Officer for Force FX Supplies & Hire, specialising in fire and pyrotechnics with a degree in Fire & Explosion Engineering and over 20 years of industry experience.
I'm passionate about delivering safe, spectacular and professional effects, with my favourite part of the job being the audience reaction to what we create. Known around the team as "The Professor", I combine technical expertise with an approachable attitude and enjoy helping turn ambitious creative ideas into reality.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, visiting local breweries and tabletop gaming - and I'm proud to have choreographed the winning display at the 2021 British Fireworks Championships.
